Provide
process design associated with direct reduction plants as well as other
new technology initiatives.
PRIMARY
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work in accordance with the Code of Ethics and ISO
requirements.
·
Work as a team player with company employees on
assignments. Work toward building consensus on assignments by finding
solutions which meet the best interests of all parties involved.

Develop process flow diagrams.
·
Develop gas, water, and solids mass and energy
balances.
·
Develop P&ID’s and oversee their issue.
·
Develop equipment and line list and oversee their
issue.
·
Develop duty specifications for equipment.
·
Assign process data for control valves and
instrumentation.
·
Have working knowledge of in-house software.
·
Perform and document process calculations.
·
Develop new in-house software calculations when
needed.
·
Serve as Lead Process Engineer for a project. As
required, take direction from project management or other Chief
Engineers.
·
Review vendor documents and documents from other
disciplines.
·
Contribute to the preparation of plant operating
instructions.
·
Review logic diagrams prepared by E&I department.
·
For new systems and processes, develop logic diagrams
in coordination with E&I department and other disciplines.
·
Contribute to the evaluation of existing and new
process designs, keeping safety in mind.
·
Participate in Process Hazards Analysis (PHA)
reviews. Lead PHA reviews (if trained).
·
Participate in client training (phase 1 training).
·
Participate in plant start-ups and plant troubleshooting.
·
Assist with proposal preparation when needed.
·
Travel as needed to carry out departmental tasks and
functions, including field assignments.
SKILLS,
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- BS degree in
Chemical Engineering. Knowledge
of and experience with personal computer software /hardware.
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally,
sometimes for long continuous periods. Ability to move around a project
site, including climbing structures.
Excellent writing skills and interpersonal skills. Ability to meet schedule deadlines

Seeking

Civil/Structural Engineers and Designers, to deliver quality projects to
our clients in a timely manner and at or below budget. The successful
candidate shall be a seasoned professional capable of performing
structural design and of supervising and coordinating a structural team,
from start to finish of a project. As a lead engineer you are responsible
for the supervision of your team, the planning of the project execution
and the budget allotted to the structural effort. You are also
responsible for the coordination with other design disciplines and with
the project management team. Typically, the lead engineer is responsible
for stamping all work related to the project he leads. The Structural
Lead might be asked to work as a team member under another lead when the
size of a project requires it. The Structural Lead reports to the
Structural Department Manager.
Principal Duties
and responsibilities

Lead the structural design for a
given project, responsible for planning, staffing, budget and schedule
for the project.

Execute, without supervision,
structural designs for the project(s) he is assigned to.
·
Report progress and staffing needs
to the Department Manager.
·
Engineer of record for the
project(s) assigned to.
·
Interface with client in the
Civil/Structural area.
·
Coordinate interface between other
disciplines and Civil/Structural.
·
Ability to work on multiple projects
efficiently.
Training and
experience
·
10 to 20 year experience in relevant
projects.
·
Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
required.
·
Master degree a plus.
·
P.E. registration required.
·
NCEES record a plus.
·
Proficiency in Staad
Pro, Staad Foundation RAM connection, PCA mats
, PCA column and Retain Pro a plus.
·
Proficiency in AutoCAD a plus.
·
Familiar with ASCE, AISC, ACI and
International building codes is required.
·
Ability and training to perform
field work is required.
·
Proficiency in the use of the

Project Manager –

SUMMARY
Responsible
for leading and supervising a team of engineers as they propose and
execute projects in the industrial sector. Industries include pulp and paper,
chemical, mining, power, and more.
The project manager supervises a project team that may include
multiple disciplines such as process, mechanical, HVAC, electrical,
instrumentation & controls, automation, and structural. Should have a working knowledge of
planning, scheduling, and earned value calculations. The project manager
is responsible deliver projects that are within the budget, on schedule,
and meet or exceed client expectations.
PRIMARY
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate with Business Development
to prepare proposals for prospective projects.
- Analyze Request For Proposal (RFP)
requirements to determine the project team required for project
execution.
- Prepare an overall budget for
prospective work and associated schedule.
- Participate in presentations to
clients for prospective projects.
- Coordinate with clients during the
proposal stage and after award of a project.
- Organize project teams to execute
projects according to scope requirements.
- Has a working knowledge of planning,
scheduling, and earned value calculations.
- Prepare and monitor budgets for
overall project execution to include organic resources and required
sub-consultants.
- Monitor the project execution to
ensure that project objectives are being met for budget, schedule,
and other project specific objectives they may be identified by
clients.
- Coordinate with accounting to ensure
project financials remain current.
- Coordinate with upper management
concerning project status using key performance indicators.
- Establish project administrative
procedures and standards to be used for project execution.
- Monitor key parameters to ensure
that project quality is maintained at the highest standard.
- Provide project status reports.
- Provide overall supervision of
preparation of reports, cost estimates, drawings, specifications,
calculations, and other deliverables as required.
- Serve as the primary point of
contact for clients for project delivery.
- Coordinate with procurement and
construction, as required, during project delivery.
Sales
Engineer –
We are
currently looking to add a Sales Engineer for Raleigh and Charlotte
locations. This individual will
be responsible for building productive relationships with new clients
and cultivating relationships with existing clients.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1) Develop and
execute sales plans to meet performance expectations and
requirements;
2) Quote projects
and negotiate correct required pricing;
3) Prepare
sales presentations to explain company services during sales visits
with potential or existing clients;
4) Build relationships with key
customers to enhance long-term business prospects through various
mediums i.e. keeping-in-touch calls, emails, text or sharing social
media content of interest;
5) Canvas the
market to gain insight and adjust to ever changing service pricing
6) Assist team
to develop a coordinated sales effort while keeping management
informed of market conditions;
7) Obtain
ongoing training on both functional and technical skills.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s
Degree from an accredited institution in Chemical, Mechanical or
Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 7-12
years’ experience providing engineering services to the chemical
process and heavy industrial Construction industry.
• Possess and
maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license
• Must be
authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
